How can School Uniforms cause LGBT problems?
School uniforms usually have only 2 gender binary options. This causes a problem upon gender identities and cause discomfort, sometimes trauma. Although it still remains a problem, many Japanese schools seem as though they are taking this problem more seriously and are considering numerous options for school uniforms.
In Thailand, they have a strict rule about wearing school uniforms, and that decreases self-esteem of those who are LGBT. Especially transgender tomboys who would like to wear pants instead of skirts. These types of gender Identities should not be prohibited just because of school uniforms.
