2. Why is it necessary?

There are actual statistics on school uniforms reducing problems that otherwise caused by students, or involves students in some way. A school in California switched over to mandatory uniforms with some promising results. Fighting went down 51 percent, theft dropped by 65 percent, weapon possession decreased by 52 percent, and drug possession dropped 69 percent, the overall problematic behavior has been reduced by over 50%.

Also, there are some countries that can not even afford clothes. When they go to school, they are also getting clothes that they can where, and feel like they belong in a community.
